Details of CISF
CISF was set up under an Act of the Parliament of India on March 10, 1969 with a strength of 2,800. CISF was subsequently made an armed force of the Union of India by another Act of Parliament passed on June 15, 1983. Industrial sectors like atomic power plants, space installations, defence production units, barrages, fertilizer units, airports, currency note presses producing Indian currency are protected by CISF.
CISF Recruitment 2013: CISF has released notification for the posts of Constable/ Driver. From Eligible and Interested candidates applications in a prescribed application format are invited on/before 9th April, 2013.
Eligibility Criteria for CISF 2013 Constable/driver
Age Limit: Candidates’ Age should be between 21-27 years. Age Relaxation as per Government Rules & regulations.
Qualification: Candidates must have Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or university
License: Aspirants must also have a valid driving license for Heavy/ Light Motor Vehicle and Motor cycle with gear.
Application fees: Rs. 50/- in the form of Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Officers and No Fee for SC/ST candidates.
